Duration of complete performance of Individual Versions (CUT VI-VIII) ca. 25`.

CUT VI, VII and VIII can be performed either individually, or in a different order, or as a simultaneous version eg. the concluding section of CUT VI can be dovetailed with the beginning of CUT VII, the same is possible with CUT VII und CUT VIII. Through this layering technique a single large orchestral piece can be developed with a duration of approximately 22`.

In performances of the individual versions the orchestration of CUT VIII includes a distant cello but no wood.

Strings:
ideally 16, 14, 12, 8, 6 (Double-Bass., Minimum 6), also possible 14, 12, 10, 8, 6
1 Distant Cello (positioned in the balcony or gallery, if possible opposite the orchestra, and spatially and acoustically independent from it. Ideally: in or behind the audience)
